Can I use EIN to narrow SOS searches?

No. SOS registries generally do not expose EINs (Florida is the only state that publishes them). EINs can be used only for TIN verification against IRS records. If you submit Business Name + EIN, the IRS returns true/false for a match, but does not provide state registration details.
