What does Cobalt’s TIN verification do?

It checks whether a provided business name matches an IRS EIN in real time. It is not a search tool. If they match, the response is “TIN Matched”; if not, “Did Not Match.” The source is authoritative IRS records. Each verification consumes 3 credits.
