Does Cobalt provide full tax return data or just EIN match results?

Only EIN verification is supported. Submit a business name + EIN, and the IRS confirms if they match (true/false). Cobalt does not retrieve full tax return documents — that requires merchant consent and specialized providers (e.g., Tax Status) with IRS Form 4506-T workflows.
