What’s the difference between stateOfFormation and stateOfSosRegistration?

stateOfFormation indicates where the business was originally incorporated (its “home” state). stateOfSosRegistration shows where the entity is currently registered to do business. In many cases, Delaware will appear as the formation state, while another state reflects where the business actually operates.
