Are there states that charge extra to access business status information?

‍Yes. Delaware requires a separate paid request ($15–$20) to view entity status. New Jersey also restricts status data by statute, requiring a small fee (around $1.50–$3.50). Cobalt does not automatically include these paid status pulls in our service. Most clients choose not to pay extra for Delaware status, but if demand increases, we may consider adding an optional paid parameter to request it.
